Jason Stephens Pranks Fitzy & Wippa

A few days back, the producer for The Fitzy & Wippa Show on Sydney’s Nova 96.9 got in touch with me and asked if I’d like to be a part of a stitch-up (Australian for “prank”) on their breakfast show (Australian for “morning radio show”).  I ran the conversation through Google translate and jumped at the chance!  The bit was simple – just be Morgan Freeman for a few minutes.

Fitzy has a long-standing tradition of pulling these stitch-ups on Wippa – the latest of which was leaving him in the South African jungle on the Australian series, “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Outta Here”.  So, I had a big stitchy to follow.

This prank involved me patching into their show and posing as Morgan Freeman – then, dropping a few untruths through the interview.  It was really a lot of fun, and the guys were fantastic!
