Day 12 – Burgess Meredith Loses a Sock

It’s kind of hard to believe that Burgess Meredith died almost twenty years ago (September 9, 1997 – just a couple of months shy of his 90th birthday), but time continues to march on.  You may remember him from his iconic role as The Penguin (in the original Batman TV series), as boxing coach Mickey Goldmill in the early Rocky films, or as Grandpa Gustafson in the Grumpy Old Men films in the mid-1990s.

For day twelve of the 100 Voices in 100 Days project, I went with my Burgess Meredith impression.  It’s a short one, but it made me laugh when I recorded it.  So, I hope you dig it.
