101 Voices – Dungeons & Dragons and Dorks Ep 1 – Day 4

This new addition to the 101 Voices in 101 Days project has me pretty excited.  I call it Dungeons & Dragons and Dorks, and the general idea is that I’m pretending to be half a dozen different celebrities (parody versions of them, obviously) playing Dungeons & Dragons.  That’s what this is.  It’s story-based, so don’t freak out if D&D rules aren’t strictly adhered to.  It features:

Jeff Goldblum as the Dungeon Master
Patrick Stewart as the Thief
Christopher Walken as the Paladin
Danny Trejo as the Fighter
Liam Neeson as the Wizard
and Sylvester Stallone as the Bard

I’m nervous that it won’t work (and that it’s going to be a LOT of work down the line), but sometimes you need to just do something bigger than you think you can.

It will be an ongoing audio series that fits nicely into the 101 Voices in 101 Days project, and new episodes will come out every Tuesday and Thursday.  I hope you like it.

P.S.  As a fan of Dungeons & Dragons for the last +30 years, I highly recommend that you check out the official Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set.  It’s perfect in just about every way.  It’s ideal for someone who has never played the game (but would like to try it) and it’s fun for experienced players too.  Plus it’s very economical!
